Contest Craze mini challenge: Fave Books of 2011

Challenge:
Write up a blog post about the top 5 books you read in 2011 that you loved!

hosted by Cindy @ Princess Bookie

EASY...

The 4 books out now in the Apocalypse Babes series by Bella Street make the list:

The Z Word
The X Factor
iRobotronic
KumBaYa Much

It's all about Zombies this year!
Everybody is obsessed with them.
 Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
& World War Z
are being turned into movies so...
It's not just me.

Seffy and her friends are just chilling when they are suddenly blasted to the Montana dessert...except everyone is dressed in disco duds, and they're moaning, and trying to take a bite out of them.
It's 1980 and disco is SO NOT COOL!

The crew try their best to survive in this new world while trying to find their way back home in 2006 West Hollywood. Romance pops into the mix and everything gets complicated. How do you form relationships when blood puppets are a big concern?

The 5th Book I read this year that I LOVED is Inside the Outside by Martin Lastrapes!

Who doesn't find Cannibals and cults interesting?
Timber Marlow is innocent and sweet and naive...even though she has killed 3 men by the time she is 15 years old. She had to do it. At the Compound, in the "Inside", with Daddy Marlow and his boys, Timber does what she has to, to survive.  Timber gets promoted to the Sustenance Dwelling and learns to cut and prepare human flesh.  She learns about the facts of life the hard way and takes a journey to the "Outside".  Timber discovers a whole new world...and gets a chance to use her skills.
She's got wicked talent with a cleaver and hasn't lost the taste for her favorite meat.
